My sister inlaw has just got a (very cute) springer spaniel bitch pup, just 8 weeks old.
Personally I am not a massive fan of the breed, I don't think they should be 'house pets' more working dogs, but hey thats my opinion. SIL has 3 kids 4 and under  and also does child minding, so I think she may have her hands full - her choice.
She has asked for name ideas, so do you think I can suggest 'Bounce'? You see, their surname is Ball, and it would either make people laugh or insult the family!!? Another mutual friend suggested 'Spot' = Spotty Ball... ideas on this, and others I could put forward please.

How about Miss Priscilla Lightfoot? Or Miss Daisy McCloud?
Not know for my good choices with names - we have Quigley (he was wriggley as a pup), and my new pups are going to be called Mister Hamish MacFuzz, and Pagan. We've also had Loushka (little dumpling in Russian), and Thalia (butterfly in russian). They were samoyeds so the russian was sort of appropriate :D

Very sadly, none of our names cut the mustard as little pup now has her name - to be called Truffle, which is very nice and suitable considering she has little chocolate truffle shapes on her tummy!
I still liked Bouncey mind, OH liked Spotty and Havina - as suggested earlier... oh well, maybe another time! (their son - my nephew, has still got the short staw when it comes to names in the family!)
