New neddy and help with a name please!

Hi all,

I have a new hossy coming on Friday and I get the additional excitement of giving her a competition name. Her stable name is Hattie, she is a very pretty bay ISH mare with no face markings, 5 years old by Big Sink Hope out of Tattygare Golden Delight. I would like to keep something from her parents names but also something that suits her. She is quite fine and very dainty and the most laid back 5 year old I have ever met!

Suggestions please as although I have always wanted name my horse myself, I am now fresh out of ideas!

'high hopes'
'Golden Home' (Hattie is short for harriet, harriet means 'ruler of the home')
'Hope to be Home'
 
I am surprised she is not named already, Tattygare have a prefix and usually name their foals.

If she was bred by Tattygare (and they still own her dam I think) she will be a lovely looking mare-they are big showing people.

Lucky you having a mare out of Tattygare Golden Delight, she a a fabulous looking mare.

Names I have no idea. I really should not be allowed to name the ones I breed never mind others!

ETA: name- 'Big Apple'. I did say I should never be let name things...!

Do you know wherei can find a piccy of tattygare golden delight?
With would love her to have the tattygare in the name but I imagine only the breeders can use that if they name her themselves?
 
You could only add 'Tattygare' if the stud bred your mare, if they sold the mare T Golden Delight first then the new owners bred your mare then they could add their prefix first instead, if they had one, but probably not hence no name for her.
Big Sink Hope was by Green Dancer, by Nijinsky so maybe you could go back a generation or two to find a name?

I have been sitting here with her passport trying to be imaginative but I'm not having much luck. I have always wanted to name my own horse but now I have the chance I'm stumped!

have found a pic of her for you(ive had an op and am bored now the dressage has finished) not sure how to post the website but if you google RDS photo catalog, there is a pic of her with a foal in 2008..hope you can find it..
