New on here and Livery needed Northants

Hi, I am new on here, joined a while ago but just haven't posted anything yet.

I was wondering if anyone knows of any livery yard in Northants as I really can't find anywhere that fits my criteria with vacancies

If anyone can help I am looking for DIY with the option of assistance when needed. i.e. holidays. It must have a school to ride in with floodlights for winter. Good hacking would be nice, and need turnout year round (days in winter, 24/7 in summer).

I live and work in the centre of Northampton so as close to town as possible and it must be a sensible price

Any ideas would be great, and apologies if this is posted in the wrong place.

Would Kettering be too far for you? The yard I'm at meets your criteria (although sometimes horses have to be in for a week or so over winter due to water logged fields). I'm not 100% sure if there are spaces, but can find out for you if you're interested? Lots of hacking but you do have to do some roadwork to get to the bridle paths!

Depends how far and in what direction you want to travel really. Can name a few places around like Blisworth, Delapre, Roade, Moulton, Boughton, Chapel Brampton... can u narrow it down?

Thanks for the replies, CatStew I think kettering would be too far tbh, shame though as your yard sounds lovely. Roadwork isn't a problem just fed up of only having roadwork.
LMuir, live literally in the centre of town so any direction, the bramptons would be lovely as youhave the firs to hack around, boughton would also be good, probably up to about ten miles out of town (would prefer less, for ease in winter)

Have you tried looking on www.northantshorsetrader.co.uk ? They often have adverts for livery and grazing etc. Hope this helps!

Bramptons is a lovely area. there is also Moulton.
would Grendon be too far? Delapre is OK but not very good hacking imo. Not sure if there are any yards in Hardingstone. If you pop into Blue barn (Collins Pet foods) in hardingstone, they have a notice board and there are often adverts for livery there.
Also Tower Farm in Earls Barton have adverts up.

Thanks, think grendon is too far for me. Hacking in moulton is awful, looks like it should be nice but no bridleways at all, and haven't permission to ride in any fields, the roads get very busy. Going to collins friday to get fed so will check their boards then. Thanks.
