new or nearly new trailer , pros & cons ?

ive decided to treat myself to a new trailer , after much research & looking I like both the newer IW 511 and the bateson ascot
now the (nice) dilemma
do I buy new from the dealer or look for a nearly new bargain ?
ive seen some to good to be true ads on the internet so wary of scams
will only buy something I can go and look at
so pros & cons of new and nearly new trailers ?

IMO, Brand new will depreciate the moment you take off the yard. You can get equally good second hand which is absolutely fine asking as you have it checked over and full service history. Saying that Ifors generally hold their price.

Imo, New. They hold their value beautifully, and with a new one you get peace of mind.

I looked at this and tbh new... You get a warranty and know that u can take it back if there is a problem. And IW don't really depreciate much so it's worth the extra couple of hundred quid
