New points system for Dressage

I heard that they are increasing the points allowed for each level. Are they also increasing the rider groupings? I have 1 elementary point which I got years ago, and I now cannot ride my horse in Novice Restricted! I really want to!!

Does anyone know if this rumour is correct?

Yes it is correct but it doesnt come into play until December I think.

They will be increasing the points for the horses and you will also be able to get 14 points at a higher level before your grouping changes. If you only have one point at for example elem you will be able to apply to be downgraded, it will not be automatic.
