Bikes! He is as bombproof as he poss can be for a 3 year old!
But we met a bike today ooppsssiee!

He stopped dead and snorted, didn't spin or try and tank off or anything like that, i asked the man to slow right dowm and he did, than he was okay, but whoo that was a bit of a hair raising moment to say the least!
Looks like i will have to get hubby and kids out on their bikes with me!

I guess you mean pushbike? Tiggy didn't like them - they come up quiet and then suddenly there it is, a whizzy whistly thing! Dizz isn't keen on them at a distance, but okay close up (strange horse!).

my bay use to be an absolute NIGHTMARE on the road! To build his confidence I use to follow my friend on her push bike... it did wonders! Although admittedly, he even now 13 years on, tries to chase them ha ha ha poor bike riders seeing my half tonne horse powering after them!

Good idea about the family coming out with you on bikes. Have you been faced with a motor bike yet? Do you know anyone with a motor bike? Perhaps they could

bring it up to your yard so your horse can face it there before risking the road?
