Heres a couple of pics of our new pony.....only had him a couple of weeks, this is him when he first arrived......cute or what!?

He's only 4, real chilled-out superstar....been hacking out in the woods no probs....he's really bought for my daughter but TBH I have a real soft spot for him...

Yes....he's a highland, not something I was looking for really, but we stumbled accross him and had to have him!

A Highland took reserve champion at hoys this year it seems there is a lack of good quality highlands around I would get him out showing next year you never know you could be coming down the lights! If he is chilled out anyway thats half the battle!

We only do local stuff - did pretty well with our shettie, and i take my lad in veteran classes....just a bit of fun really but I do like getting poshed up......

Is he pure bred? What's his breeding?

he's very cute!

Sadly, I don't know.....he's not registered.....story is he was a job lot and the buyer only wanted the mare so left the 2 geldings to their own devices then sold them on.

Wish I could find out and get him registered...I think he is pure-bred- he has the dorsal stripe, the 'tiger' legs and the weathering on the mane, although he's got 2 white socks and I know this frowned upon...

He's got a gorgeous nature and very laid back, think he will be very trainable and he moves well.....he was actually bought for my daughter but he's also a project for me with him being so young, my lad is older and more of a schoolmaster so its time for me to try my hand at bringing a youngster on.......any tips gratefully recieved!!
