New pony arriving tomorrow !!

New ponio is coming in the morning, what is the best way to settle them in ?should i leave her a day before riding or go out with a friend in the afternoon ?. she is 13 and has done lots of shows and pony club so is used to going places , any advise please,

In my opinion - it's best just to get on with it. If she arrives and seems quite calm then defo go for a hack with your friend but take it gently. I think that the quicker they get into a routine at a new place, the quicker they settle. As she is 13 and has been around the block a few times, I don't expect you will have too many problems.
