friend has just sold her daughters first pony and the hunt is on for the nest step up. The only problem is that G is a good little rider that can walk .trot,canter,gallop, jump 3ft plus, sit a buck or 3 etc BUT she is so so quiet in general and on a pony. she just wont get after them if they are being a bit lazy etc. She has no major aspirations but wants to do pony club and local shows. Pony will need to be a real point and shoot but in a sensible manner along with all the good to do lark! So is there any particular breeds that she should be looking for or do i just go to kent and steal badger ?
