new pony - hocks?

Following on from disappointing viewing a few days ago, I have found another horse who looks good, the only thing is he has stiff hocks. I want to do general hacking at first but want to enter endurance competitions later on - would the stiffness become a problem? not having much luck looking for 'mr right!'

My horse recently had a op on her hock after getting kicked in the feild, although she isnt in work, the vets said she would have stiff hocks and a capped hock, they also said its no problem and are very hopeful she will be back into medium/full work!
Im sure as long as you look after him and dont over work him then he would be fine!

Could be related to arthritis.My boy has had surgery on hocks the long term prognosis is good.If he has a problem make sure there are no exclusions on the hocks when you insure ,this will depend on what your vet notes are like on vetting.The best thing to do is ask your vet .
