My new pony (Lochie, as named by H and H forum) has left county Galway and is on his way to Belfast. He is booked on the 23.30 ferry to Cairnryan Scotland. Then he will head south, hopefully arriving with us mid afternoon.
I am excited but also nervous. It's a long journey for a young chap with very little experience of travelling. When he arrives I expect he will be exhausted. He has a lovely comfy stable set up with an isolation paddock. He will be able to see other, but no contact for 3 week. He leaves ireland with a clear strangles test and a full blood panel showing no abnormal returns, however you never know what they might pick up unroute.
Fingers crossed for a safe, easy journey for him.
