Hi,

I put this in CR but wanted to share the embarrasment all round with anyone that might not go into there!!!

So Im getting a new steed to ride (who was meant to be trustworthy!!)

Went to sit on him for the first time today, he is 4yo, by Dimaggio (you cant tell by the pics or anything lol) He was backed last summer, did a bit, then was turned away and brought back into work 2 weeks ago and he should be coming to live with me next weekend.

Felt a bit larey when I first got on and was a typical wobbly baby, had a nice trot around, went into canter, did a few nice strides then bucked and bucked and bucked till I fell off.

So thats pretty embarrasing by itself right???? Nope, not when you considor I fell off almost at the feet of a event rider who went to Bejing who was riding with me!!!! How terrible!!!! :eek:

Naughty baby pony!! We were both fine so I hopped straight back on, carried on and all was well. In hindsight, I should of been more productive to get his head up and kick him on!!! Those watching said I did very well but hey, thats babies!!! Im going to have everything checked as soon as he comes to me, just to make sure nothing hurts, but it did just feel like exuberant baby!

Anyway, heres the monkey......

I wanted to see him go a bit from the ground so got the guy that backed him to have a trot round at the end (my mum couldnt work the video when I was riding him) He looks a bit tired from all his effort bucking me off!!! The video is a bit wobbly, just like the pony!!

So there you go! Hopefully writing this will make me feel better about the embarrasment, sharing might be the way forward!!!!!

So what do you think?!!?! How do you rate the embarrasment?!

He may be a fab rider but he's the one who should be embarrassed for not wearing a hat, especially after he'd just seen your young'un have a bucking fit!

You have no need to be embarrassed IMO. GORGEOUS horsey, you must be dead chuffed :D
 
Im beginning to think its the weather. My horse in my sig is a scruffier version of yours lol

He never naps, today he had me in the hedge and all over the place, was a complete sh@@

hes 17.2 and and old fart 15 , they do look a little similar though,. do you think?

Yeah they are def simular arnt they! Esp in colour.

Ill probably be able to take lots of new pics from the floor every time I get bucked off lol!!
 
lol! hope not, good luck with him, everyones saying how naughty thier horses are at the minute, mine was a swine yesterday, first time in two years, someones going to be lunged alot today lol
 
Lol I hope you survived!!

I found out today that new pony had been stuck in and not ridden much hence nasty behaviour (hopefully thats it!)

So maybe I wont be able to take too many pics from the ground!!!! Fingers crossed!
 
Pssst! Mrs M- Vicky is only embarassed because as she hit the deck her breeches split and she let out an enormous fart which was so loud it spooked Alex's horse.

As a fellow sufferer of split breeches and unfortunately timed bodily functions, you have my deepest sympathy :D Take a seat and have a hot choccy :D

What a silly thing to say Dozzie...... your just jealous as you dont have ANY clothes or shoes left!!!!

I have never had spilt breeches!!!!! And I think his horse would of been more spooked by the sound of my big a$$ hitting the floor than any fictional bodily functions!!!!!!!

Well I heard afterwards there was a severe weaher warning...possible tidal waves in Hayling Island due to the aftershocks...;) :D

LOL! I have plenty of boots and shoes left, just no actual pairs!:( But fortumately I have one left and one right one :)so can still manage even if they dont match! I am such a P...y!
