Hi All,
Im new to this forum, Seems much busier than any ive been on before :D

I pick my new pony up on Saturday, however were unsure on her stable name..i know its super unlucky to change it but im afraid we have to or she will be know as 'pony' forever more :p

She is a 13.3 and still growing CHESTNUT MARE 5yro, i know what your all thinking, i agree. . . IM NUTS!

Also any advice introducing her to the other guy in her field, she's easy going although im not sure about him as i havent had chance to meet the owner

Thanks
Jessika

Her Passport says copper, but it doesn't suit her and she definatly does not answer to it...

I will almost certainly have some pictures by Saturday afternoon :)

Copper Lady (lady for short)
Sunshine Copper (sunshine/ sunny for short)
errrrmmm
sorry im pants with names :P

I named all mine, Bailey, Charlie and Scooby

I think i have decided on peaches, i love honey too hmm such a huge decision

Any tips on fields, i get her tomorrow afternoon, by the the other pony will be turned out and no doubt his owner will be nowhere to be seen

Thanks for the suggestions

Could you maybe see if you could fence off a bit of the paddock off to put your pony in to begin with so that the two horses can get used to each other? You should leave them like this for a few days and if they seem at ease with each other, put them in together but keep an eye on them for a bit.

Well...gald to say all went BRILLIANT!!

Theres a small fenced off area in the field we put her in, she decided to be brave walk through it and meet her new friend, after 5minutes all was calm and nobody batted an eyelid :)

:D
