New Pony

Bought myself a new pony tonight, she a lovely wee red and white 12hh, bought her for the cart. She was called tinkerbell as she belonged to a wee girl. I want a new name for her as I dont fancy going to shout that name when i catch her from the field lol.

Any suggestions, sorry have no pictures yet. My other 2 horses are Mae and Ozzy, like them short but sweet!

I like the name Candy, however hubby said I should give her a "proper" name, oh what does he know lol.

Will try to get a pic of her tomorrow, her mane is so so so long! She is so sweet, didnt want to leave her tonight lol. Always want a horse I could drive and she was going really cheaply as the child has lost interest and the parents were sick of paying livery

I think Bella too, because then you are technically not changing her name (which some peeps think is unlucky), you are just shortening it.

I agree with calling her Bella or something. I'm of the superstition that changing a anme is unlucky. I did it once, for the reason that there were already two horses at the yard with the same name.
If I can walk up the field calling "ginger", you can shout bella lol.

my new shetland is called tinkerbell , i just call her tinks, tinker or stinkerbell.
