Hi just a quick question. I will be getting a vet check but is it even worth proceeding. I am looking to buy a plod! Lovely pony, perfect for what I want. But just found out these were his hooves 12 months ago. Hes not old 7. Can a pony recover, hes hooves look okay now after lots of farrier visits. But long term is it likely to have caused long term damage, arthritis etc. Ps not a new member but it's been so long I've have to reset up my login, as cant remember old email details! Sarah G.

Thanks for responses. I'll get xrays as part of vet check and discuss with vet. We have quite rich grazing due to being ex cow pasture so lammi is a concern for me.

Do you have any pictures of his feet now?
I would x ray anyway though.
I recently had hoof x rays and for 2 views it was £140 so reasonable cost for peace of mind
