New pup suggestions

We would like to purchase a puppy any time now

Would have to be KC registered pedigree breed, medium-large sized dog, very affectionate, not bothered about it being a guard dog or protective, would prefer long or fluffy type coat, rather than short coated but wouldnt rule out short coats.

Breeds im looking at so far:

Large Munsterlander
Leonberger
Estrela Mountain Dog
Bernese Mountain Dog

We have just had our White Retriever PTS we would consider another but i feel like we need a change as dont want to make comparisons to our fabulous Retriever.

leonburgers are v popular here. Very nice big dogs all very friendly.

Musterlanders are a working breed so I think you should bare that in mind when purchasing.

Bernese mountain dogs are lovely but very strong willed (partner has owned in the past) make sure they are health tested and check if there is any cancer or epilipsy in the lines.

That is a lot of coat work but easily pleased. (please ignore the burrs in his feet, this was when he first came to me)

My friend got her Munsterlander from Cornwall somewhere (13hr drive to get it!!!!)
I can ask what the breeders name is.

Yeh any help/suggestions for reputable breeders appreciated

My heart is going with a Leonberger so far, as they are super cuddly looking teddy bears!

The litter i wanted to see tomorrow is in Ipswich, which is around a 4 hr drive

Need to convince my mum about this breed and assure her they arent too big (even though i know they are huge) haha she wont mind once its grown up as she would gradually get used to the size

Why would you lie about the size, they reach the size of a small shetland, I kid you not.

Oh yes i know!

She has had big dogs before though and didnt mind them! We had a newfoundland dog before and it wasnt too big for us!

Anyone know any good reputable breeders for these dogs??
