Iam eagerly awaiting the arrival of my first Jack Russell puppy. It's been a while since I have had a puppy and I would like any advice! Training, feeding - anything! I was wondering how soon they can have their vaccinations and as it's a girl when she would get spayed. Thanks

Congrats on your new pup! Most vets advise to let her go into season once before getting her spayed. As for injections I *think* it's at 10weeks but someone will be able to confirm this for you.

Oooo how exciting. Beware of house training - Jack Russells can take forever to convince that they should 'go' outside.....

Hours of fun to be had though

i don't have a dog but i'd say have lots of towels available!! and apparently harnesses are better for dogs instead of collars because it doesn't put on their neck the main pressure is applied on the front of them, i knw what i mean! lol

good luck with your new pup, sure you'll have great fun with all the training
