Hello everyone!
I'm a proud owner of an 11 year old white miniature poodle bitch called Daisy :) unfortunately my silly brain has been getting more aware of the fact that Daisy is getting older and won't be around forever, so we (me and brain) decided that it may be a good time to buy a puppy so that it can learn from Daisy and so that i'll still have a dog when Daisy decides to cross over the rainbow bridge (at least 5 more years i hope!)
This is Daisy on her walk this morning, I think she looks good for her age and doesn't look her age but then I'm a bit biased! :)

So today I went to see and reserve my new puppy!
Everyone, I'd like you to meet Roux (pronounced Roo) which means redhead in french, she is a 2 week old red toy poodle bitch, and will be ready to come home at the end of November :)

Roux is a beauty.,what a lovely shade of red she is.I have two standards here ,one is twelve, the other twenty months. House training was a breeze ,as the pup took his lead from the older dog and went to her spots outside to perform. You will love having two...I found the older dog got a new lease of life with the pup and they are the best of friends. I always let the older dog know she is top dog and there has been no jealousy .

P.p.pony...i just saw your bird paintings on tack rm. board...wow! Do you have any dog art to show? I am a glass and wood "artist"....I'd love to see yr dog paintings...new thread maybe?

Thank you everyone :) I'm so excited for her to come home! I've started buying all the bits and bobs :D

I'm just working on dog art now, i've never done dogs so it's a whole new adventure for me! :)

I do want a silver standard! but being at uni atm, living with 3 other house mates and having to take my dog (soon to be dogs!) on the train home and back, i just can't accommodate a bigger dog atm, it's got to be small enough to fit on my lap with Daisy so I don't have to pay for extra train ticket! :)
I'm so excited! I only saw her yesterday and I've got 6 more weeks to wait but I'm excited anyway :D

Silver standard? Ive got a silver standard...still in coat change,he's 20 m and they finish colour change about 2amd a half in this line...mine came from Sweden.

Funnily enough my new dog may well be a red (or silver) toy.
