Hi all,
We have a new puppy
. He is a labradoodle, and is 14 weeks. We brought him home on Tuesday, and he has had diarrhoea since, with a tiny bit of blood in.
I have been told this is normal for a new puppy who will be a bit stressed. He has been brought up in a kennel, so has been exposed to A LOT of new experiences, so understandably it is a bit stressful for him (although he is very laid back and coping very well).
I am just a bit concerned that he still has diarrhoea, and also fed up with clearing up poo, he is not house trained which is fine, but it is making it difficult to housetrain him.
W have an appointment on Monday to have him chipped, so I will ask then if he is the same, but is there anything I can give him, or do in the meantime.
Thanks
Should add, he is up to date with vacs, worming etc, I am very gradually changing his food over from the one he was getting already.
