So, how do you travel them in a trailer? Loose, add straw (or not bother), add a companion / take out partition, give them a hay net?
However, we have a single ifor - so what would you do?

Travel loose, add straw if you like but i think that makes the floor slippery. sercure bales of hay at the front of the trailer to stop the horse standing right at the front or being thrown therein case of an accident. I find this safer than a full breast bar as they can get under it or fall under it when travelling loose.
He'll then be able to find his own feet and stand how he likes, I find they tend to stand themselves diagonal across the trailer. He'll be able to eat the hay at the front if he wants.
Mine travelled well like this, wouldn't come out the other end.!!!!!:D

Thankyou Sammii. Do you close the top doors too - I wouldn't want her to try to jump out. Iam taking her away from her mum for the first time, so Iam feeling a tad nervous!

Yes all doors shut, you don't want to lose her on the way home.
Just travel extra slow, as this will be so new to her.

Take all corners like you don't want to spill your glass of wine.
Will be the most important journey she does in a trailer, you want it to be as pleasant as possible.

:)
