Not sure why but my husband agreed to finally have a dog. I have been wanting to have another dog for over 20 years (my old lurcher passed away back in 2002)
May I introduce you to Lulu. I'm dog grooming at a kennels which also is the base for a small local rescue. This little terrier came and put her paws on my knee before Christmas and finally came home at the weekend. She's happy in a crate overnight, no whining or anything and keeps me company whilst I'm working from home.

The cat isn't impressed, has had one woof (without even being in sight) and hightailed it. She has now decamped to the cabin to keep OH company) so she doesn't have to be in the same building as the ghastly creature. But its early days yet (she's still got a harness on most of the time at the moment so I can grab her if needed) and we are going to do some training etc over the coming weeks.

She looks very, very sweet. I do miss having a little dog around the place but I think OH would put his foot down and say two clumsy great greedy labs is enough! I wish you many years joy and happiness with little Lulu. ?

Welcome Lulu you are so cute! She looks very at home already. She looks a little like my rehome boy on the left of the gang. 6 years on from getting him he is so loving and he is a really special lad.
I hope you enjoy her and the cat settles down x

What s lovely little thing she is. What's her back story?
.
As far as I can tell she was in a multi-dog house hold and was being picked on by the other dogs. She has been sociable enough with other dogs in foster home and kennels., but likes to shout and swear at them when on the lead. I'm assuming she's nervous that they might get at her whilst she is on lead so we'll see if we can work on that

He's a cracker - love a scruffy terrier. He reminds me of a terrier I used to do called Billy

I’m a huge terrier fan too.Your little one sounds a perfect fit.Tough little characters yet loyal to the end.Your new addition looks beautiful.

Sheer perfection. Scruffy terriers are gorgeous. I hope she has a long and happy life with you and that your cat forgives her for breathing. (I'm sure she will.)

She looks adorable, I can't possibly believe that she'd ever shout at anyone :D. I hope that you have many happy years together, and that the cat eventually forgives you!
