So, I viewed a new possible addition to my yard today.

It's a small, but sturdy thing, very bombproof as you can see. Do you think I look too big or too heavy?
I'm also tempted with the baby in the background.

I was also concerned as they got me to sit on a youngster, that I feel is a bit too young!
Ignore my lack of hat, I don't want to get into that sort of argument. Thanks.

Yuk, one of my pet hates, someone standing on their animal to show how quiet it is, even if they are rock solid, it's not a good idea, and shame on you for sitting on that baby, from the shape of the legs this isn't the first time.

Get them both fully vetted, they look like they've had a few lumps and bumps... Worth checking out! :)

Hey, the owner said it was quiet and I proved it! Didn't move an inch...

I know you said no comments about the hat, but seriously, you can't post a photo of you riding a wild creature on HHO without getting into a hat debate.

What were you thinking???? Anything could have happened!!!! What if it had spooked at a horse????

Please think twice before you do something as reckless as this again :frown3:

It looks very shut down, I bet it's been abused. You should get an animal communicator out, and don't do anymore riding until you've done loads of ground work and bonding and clicker training and 7 games and high school movements

Omg u took me straight back to childhood when I saw those pics, I lived there as a child and moved back to London when my parents split up ,my dad still lives there and as a youngster we would occasionally pop to the concrete cows where I would sit on them pretending they were horses lol.

Well I never! I leave this thread for a few hours and I've already been called a bad person!!!

Ridefast, they're already on their way, don't you worry!

Shannonandtay - Aw :) that's really nice! I used to do that too, hehe!

Indiscriminate breeding makes me mad  That youngster is beggared and needs pts for its own welfare asap :(

There was more than one, but I didn't get a photo of the other. I really think I can rescue it!

Here's a photo I found on the internet. I can't believe they used to be kept in such a small pen :( poor things.

The one on the centre right is so bored it is attempting to chase / eat its own tail. No grass or forage either. Why breed the things if you can't afford to feed them, eh?!
