Hi, I'm after a new hat for my 13 year old daughter, our local tack shops don't have a huge choice so can anybody recommend somewhere in the midlands where we can try a few on, thanks:)

Blenkinsops, Coombe View Farm, Brinklow
Townfields, Coventry
A&J, Southam
Horsesense, Solihull

Try the yellow pages if you want any more options.

Townfields (Coventry) shouldn't be a world from you if Barby's local. There's also a Countrywide on the way up there and Horsesense at Solihull RC if you go a bit further.

ETA x-posted with gunnerdundog.

Townfields has a good selection of Charles Owen.

Hurst Saddlers in Wigston, Leicestershire has all sorts of hats there too. Charles Owen and Gatehouse, crash and velvet. A lot of kids sizes too. My OH got his CO crash hat from there and I got my navy Gatehouse Hickstead showing hat from there. Good prices too.

Thanks, will look into them:D

There isn't much of a choice of hats in this country, nothing that isn't in any Shires catalogue

This is the problem, because she wears her hat a lot as we like her to wear it at all times when she's with her horse, it needs to be something she wants to wear!
She likes the look of the ventilated hats which will help with all her hair but finding somewhere that has a good selection of different styles is hard:)

Robinsons have lots.
Alternative is to wait til first weekend in may and go to badminton horse trials. There should be every hat style in the country there :-)
