New Saddle Follow Up Fitting/Adjustment?

Having bought a brand new, made to fit saddle for my project mare who didn't wear it for a good few months(back issues). Would you expect a follow up and possible re-stuff to be limited on time lapse and cost you again?

When I was fitting professionally I would take a saddle and fit it, then would do a free refit within a month. I would then charge for any future refit. To be fair if it has been months because of the back problems then it is fair for teh saddle fitter to charge you as it is outside the month visit. It is not the saddle fitters problem and to be honest it is outside the remit of the original fit. It needs to be fitted all over again - and not simply be a bedding in issue which is what the follow up visit is for.
