OK not a lot of money - around £400 and want a dressage saddle. Like one with a knee block if possible.

Looking At:
New Wintecs,
Thoroughgood T6
Colliegates
Tekna

Any one got thoughts - recommnedations?

He is just 4 and will prob change as he develops so if its one that has adjustmnet thats great but would not dismiss replacing further down line when more money anyway!!!!

thanks guys
finding it hard to get reviews on the Teknas online!

My saddler raves about the Kent & Master saddles and their trees etc, the new Thorowgoods are based on the same tree/design, just with the synthetic material instead of leather, so should be just as brilliant.

I'm on the lookout for a 2nd hand T4 or T6 dressage saddle, but sadly everyone seems to love them and doesn't sell them on as not really seen many. :( Must be a good sign though! If I had the budget to buy a T6 new this minute I would! :)

I have recently bought a Kieffer for my 4yo... it has a polymer tree so any good saddler can remove it and adjust it as your horse develops and changes shape. Thats one thing that attracted me with Ruby still being young and developing! oh and I got my second hand one for under £300!

I have a kent and masters GP and love it, have done XC, dressage tests and general showing etc. Haven't had to have a different tree yet, only re-flocking. But it is great for young horses when your unsure how they will fill out, my lad grew a massive set of withers at 6 :s

Would recommend TG as every tg saddle I have had has done the job and managed to stay intact.:)

Very comfy saddle.

Babybear on here has a t4 dressage and she rates them highly.
