New saddle

I've just bought a new saddle and I can't stop touching it and being so impatient to ride in it! Does anyone else get like that or am I weird?! it's an ideal Ramsay

Oooh nice. I had one of those....didn't fit sadly.

When I got mine brand new M2M last year the weather was bad ....so I put it on my saddle holder and sat on it to test it out.

Haha! Yes I have done that too verly comfy. Just need some dry weather now to ride in it!

Yes. Its the same feeling as having new shoes as a child and having to have them by your bed at night (or was that just me!)

I have got a new Ideal VSD. I had to wait 2 weeks after getting my new cob for the saddler to fit me in, she decided that my fellow is sooo wide and flat he needs a hoop tree, which they don't do in 16 inch so had to have a 'made to measure' and a 6 week wait.

Saddle was ready and the saddler fitted me in for the day before Christmas eve hooray, only to find our weight loss program has been so successful that it needed to go back for a bit more adjustment.

Finaly got the saddle 6th Jan, had 1 week of ridding in it before the snow came. Hopefully I might just get to ride in it again this weekend!

My new to me second hand albion has been sitting on my saddle rack for two weeks, been and purchased a new brown bridle to match it today.
Just waiting for the snow to go so i can get out and ride its driving me insane !!!!! So now your not weird i keep taking the cover off every day and looking at it lol

I do this every time I buy a new saddle. Only problem is, I'm pregnant at the moment, and have to wait at least another 6 months to ride!

Oh dear! Well I managed to tack up and ride in it yesterday, even if it meant a few laps of the school in walk it's lush
