I up my new Bates AP saddle yesterday and its just started to sink in, im so excited! but I've just paid more money for a saddle than I did the horse!! arrgghhhh!!

I can feel your excitement!! What matters is your horse is comfortable. My boy was free so even a bale of hay costs more than he did, but he is priceless to me

oh yes that is true, he wasn't free but very cheap
! the comfort thing is why I went for an expensive saddle, he's only 3, so is waiting for be backed but he's so sensitive and rears up when he doesn't like something, so didn't want to risk going to a second hand saddle that might not fit him so well! so fingers x'd he will be a good boy
