New Saffy update...

Mum asked me to post another update as she has had to go to work!

We picked Saff up this morning and she is now tucked up with a duvet and heat lamp in her kennel. She is still a little flat, but seems bright enough. Although she loves the vets she was very keen to come home, walked out without a second glance at all the people who'd been taking care of her. She's still not eating, but I'm going to offer her some warm chicken again in a bit.

Anyway, thanks for all the vibes, hopefully Saffy is now on the road to recovery - minus her uterus and a couple of mammary lumps!
 
Furher update, after H reported that Saff still wasn't eating I called into Tesco atfer work and bought chicken breast, pilchards, and a couple of sachets of some ridiculously expensive cat food to try and tempt her. As I came out of the store got a text saying she was now eating! So a bit more progress made, she has manuka honey in her water as she has a bit of a cough from the anaesthetic and is lapping that up too so hopefully is getting stronger all the time.
Don't know what one of those shopping analysts would have made of my market, apart from the above I had 2 packs of reduced chicken wings, bet that would have had them guessing.;)
 
Really pleased to hear these updates, especially that Saffy is getting her appetite back :) Fingers crossed she will go from strength to strength now :):)
 
Glad she is getting slowly better. I cant really remember how Hooch was when she had pyo tbh. She was off her food but got better reasonably quickly. I think we just did chicken and rice for a few days. Nice and bland.

As for the shopping! Well I often walk out with chicken wings, 20 tins of pilchards, tuna, and a couple of bottles of wine! I think the checkout person must be thinking...glad im not going to that barbecue!:D
