Hi Guys
I've been to try a 2019 Mitsubishi Shogun Sport today. I really liked it but thought it had a bit of body roll, more than I am used to anyway in my 20 year old Shogun sport!

The problem is, I'm trying to find some Real life towing reviews but as they weren't that popular, I can't seem to find any?

So has anyone towed with one of these???

Diesel or Petrol?

In Aussie these go by the name Pajero. I had the diesel as a back up tow vehicle as we had a heavy duty tow vehicle as well.

Whilst the Shogun/Pajero had a tow capacity of 2.5T the 2.8litre Diesel engine was slow towing two horses or the ski-boat. It was fine for a 1-2hr trip but I wouldn’t have used it for long trips with both horses on board.

I drove the shotgun/Pajero as my day to day vehicle 47km each way to work and it never missed a beat. The tech on it makes it easy to park in the tightest of spots. It was really cost effective to run as well.

I’ve sold it recently and it really held its value despite having high mileage when I sold it.

A friend of mine had a brand new Shogun in 2018/2019 (can't remember the exact year). They had loved their old Shogun and were upgrading to a newer model. Well...they loved it at the test drive, but it was terrible to tow with. After about six months, they swapped it for an L200 (pickup) which towed much better.
