They were on the at risk list a while ago dont know if its still the case. I dont know why they dont seem popular, they are so beautiful.Ive never known an aggressive setter of any colour ! Gordons are great galumphing beasts though
I think people go for the reds because of their colour, you dont see many english setters either. The hunting shooting bods seem to prefer the retrievers and labs and spaniels.
