Found a cracking litter for my brother in law. He is not quite ready and wanted a pup in three weeks (rolling eyes hard here, not sure he's aware that dogs have two seasons a year etc!) Anyhow, we're going to look after the pup for three weeks, teach it some basics, get his jabs, socialise him etc. Today, he has seen and been in a car for the first time. He has met children and three dogs at a friend's house and met our three dogs (who are all deeply unimpressed!)

Cute pup, your brother is onto a good thing getting all the house training etc done for him, but he is missing out on the best bits, I love the early days. :)
Has your brother got another dog, cos it will be a bit hard for the pup to leave your dogs and be on his own when he has just got used to being away from his litter mates.

After having our Beau for 4 weeks I couldn't ever hand him over , but couldn't I agile letting someone else do the hard work of training him in the house etc I've loved it all. Springers are my new favourite breed and LJR I met Steve the farrier yesterday and his lovely springer . Told him I have one of yours he told me he wanted one but needed it ready for the year :) Lots of pictures please xx

Big dog is coping ok, other two less so. Yes, it will be hard to hand him over, but he's not mine. I like having littermates, no howling (of which we've had a fair bit, currently working on separation anxiety!) There are no other dogs at my brother in law's. I don't know how he'll be, but we're working on it now.
