We have a new boy arriving at the yard this week and he is going to be Orla's new neighbour. My mare has been in an end stable with no direct neighbours for the last 3 months & was often a little grumpy when she had visitors next door! Usually lots of noise & kicking at the dividing stable wall!
She is turned out with all of the horses on the yard (only a couple at a time!) & after a few moments of establishing who's boss they are all fine together!
Has anyone any tips of how to introduce a new neighbour? I don't really want the partition boarding up so that she can't see other horses, as this seems a bit unfair.
