Hi all,
We are currently in the very lucky position of being about to purchase a new stable block. It will be an L shape with a total of 8 12x12 and 1 corner box of 12x16.
We want to make sure we get the best quality for our money, so they last as long as possible, but we don't want to spend more money than necessary (as always 20 years of saving for this, and we are on a budget!). We have been looking at 'mid-range' stables that are pressure treated and guaranteed for around 15-20 years, sturdy tounge-&-groove, and fully lined osb including the roof, which seems good.
So far, the Withington Hill stables (Premier range) look good value - has anyone used this company? What are they like, and how well do the stables last?
Has anyone used any other stable company they would recommend?
Also we hope to be able to build a 20x40 menage also (planning still going through!), does anyone have any good companies they would recommend. We live in Gloucestershire. We want to get a company to build the whole menage complete, rather than us try and do bits ourselves, but other than Maple arenas (which look great but are very expensive) we haven't been able to get any quotes from compaines that will build the whole thing in our area.
I have been reading the very helpful posts on this forum for a long time, but have only recently joined. Thank you in advance all for your help! Mazz
