Hi,

I have just moved up to Aberdeen from Stafford and am looking to get back into a horseshare. I don't know anyone up here so thought I'd post here to see if anyone has any advice. I'm interested in show jumping and have been riding/competing for 15 years.

Cheers,
Jen

Ooooo, can't help you but just wanted to say I'm rather jealous, I used to live up there and miss it so much

If only I could uplift the town of Newmarket and plonk it in the Grampians with all my family and friends

I used to ride out for hours just admiring the scenery and watching the sun set, bliss!
Are you in the city or outside?

Hi Jen, welcome to Scotland!! Im in Dundee, my sister has just move to Aberdeen aswell - for uni, she's not horsey though lol! Have a look on www.snequestrian.com there's sometimes shares/loans etc on there or try visiting local riding schools/livery yards and let people know you're interested in a share, word of mouth and getting to know people is the best way!

I moved from Aberdeenshire to Warwickshire. Wish the hacking down here was as good as it is up there! Have a look in the local ads maybe local tack shops. There is usually quite a lot of sharers wanted.

Thanks for your quick replies and suggestions! I live in the city but do have a car making it much easier to get around.

Hopefully will find something soon as Aberdeenshire looks like a wonderful place to ride
