don’t have a photo so will get one later, but it is a half wall - really quite high though, i don’t think lily would dream of trying to get over it and i can’t see diva giving it a go either although she’s the one i’d worry about out of the 2 - diva is 13.2, lily 14.2, id be really quite surprised if diva could get over it tbh. when it’s been in to be fixed i’ll have a chat to the guy and see if he’s any ideas - really need the cheapest option available whilst still being safe. not keen on anti weave grills as they’d be royally stuck if they did get over it. the living is really quite generous, so having a cupboard/tack locker put in with a wall on the other side of that many be an option, but i dread to think of the cost of all that revamping haha. if i had to guess i’d say the half wall is about 5ft.

I had a half wall too. Two cupboards either side of wall behind in the tack area. I had a light weight metal shelf put in, that sat on top of the cupboards, on top of half wall. Then a slanted full grill towards the roof. Like this

oh i really like this idea!! thankyou! i’m not actually keen on the full stallion partitions with no breast bars, i really think they ought to have something to lean on.

Mounting block- always forget mine!! Those folding steps intended for the kitchen are good and relatively inexpensive and collapse down. Useful for opening roof vents as well as getting on horses!!
