Hiya!
I've recently been given the ride on a successful Maxi Cob. After showjumping for nearly 15 years in turning my hand to showing and working hunter with my new ride.
I need all the advice I can get when it comes to my own personal turnout!
Here goes my questions:
- What boots would you recommend? New round top style or the traditional ones?
- Tweed jacket? Where to buy?
- Riding hat? Is it accepted in working hunter to wear a KEP? Or should I invest in a velvet one and a beagler?
- where do I get a decent beagles from?
I really appreciate any feed back!
Thanks in advance!

Turn out the same as hunters. Straight cut boots with garter strap. and spurs. Tweed for daytime class and assuming you are a lady, black for championship and evening class. Check the show rules for hat rules, some require chin strap some do not.

Hi Alice, thanks yes, I am a lady!
Where would I get straight cut boots with a garter strap? Is there a preferred make?
Looked at the rules, would seem that all WH classes require chin strap, wasn't sure if you had to swap to a beagler for the second part of the class if successful or just stay in same hat. I know you can't change tack.
Thanks Laura
