New to the forum

Im a hound person although I love all animals. I currently care for five rescued dogs, 3 poodles and 2 doodles most of them abused by puppy farm breeders. One came from a real hell hole for dogs. Another of my dogs is an RSPCA abuse case. Another came from a fabulous place and oh lord what a difference. I like to get other people's advice and read their opnions, because we all need support sometimes.

Welcome to the forum. My first rescue dog was a German Shepherd named Sheba. We got her when she was 15 months old and had her for 12 years. The second was also a German Shepherd called Sindy. We renamed her Sasha (that's her in my avatar). We got her from a Dog Pound. She was only 9 months old when we got her and she passed away in October last year. She was 13 1/2 years old. Both had wonderful temperaments and were the best dogs ever. Our current dog is a Staffie, another rescue dog who had been badly abused by her previous owner. She is four years old. It took her quite a while to settle in, but she is very sweet and just wants to be loved.
