Hi Guys,

I went to a RC Dressage comp yesterday, first time out this year for one boy and first time EVER for the other, very very pleased with them both.

I wore my new Dublin Cambridge Jacket
http://www.dublinclothing.co.uk/dublin-cambridge-tweed-jacket.html

It looked great, I was so pleased and got lots of compliments.
My friend allowed her horse to slobber all down the jacket, leaving green splodges all over it, as I intend to wear it Wednesday I washed it...

Followed the label instructions 40 degrees, 'Delicates' setting (in fact I put it on a 30 deg wash)

It has come out wrecked!! All bobbly, the velvet on the collar is crushed, it now hangs like an old saggy jumper!! :'-(

What should I do? Contact Dublin?
Send it to be dry cleaned, starch it myself..... I know it is only a jacket but I am gutted!!!

As it is a wool blend jacket did you put it on a wool cycle with wool suitable detergent or just the ordinary wash cycle with normal washing powder?

I've made this mistake and paid for it.

First thing i would do is contact dublin, do not put the blame on their jacket and explain exactly what happeed and how yo washed it, explain how fantastic the jacket is, and ask them for advice on how to get your jacket back to the condition it was.
They are the manufactors of them hopefully they wil be able to help/advise best way get jacket in good condition again or if you are really lucky you never know they may replace your jacket
