New update on oli townend

Just read this on his website, oli was not discharged from hospital last night but is being kept in longer. He will not ride in showjumping. I'm not suprised and think it's a wise decision. Get well soon oli xx

Website says "no head injuries", but monitoring of "minor fractures".............. breed 'em tough up North! What a shame he can't SJ, but agree, probably wise. No doubt he will be back on form very quickly!

UPDATE FROM KENTUCKY
Oliver was not discharged from the hospital last night, but is being kept in a little longer for observation of minor fractures. He will therefore be unable to show jump ODT Master Rose, who was lying in seventh place. Oliver had suffered a heavy fall with Ashdale Cruise Master at the Hollow having previously jumped clear across country on Master Rose. Contrary to some press reports we can confirm that he has not suffered head injuries.

That was one very nasty fall, so I am glad he's not riding today. I hope he makes a speedy recovery.

There were three falls at the same jump this weekend the "Hollow". Some spectators were there videoing and captured all three falls.
