Has anyone seen the new-look Wintec dressage saddles? What do you think? An improvement? I am now very tempted to sell my ugly Pro dressage saddle because if I wanted to use a Wintec dressage in the future, I'd far rather have one of the new style ones!

Not seen one yet but if you're selling your pro could you pm me the details please

Yup, those ones CM! I just think they look so much more attractive than the older ones, and I like the idea of the Pro with the countourbloc thingy (like the Innova).

A word to the wise - the extended block on the Innovas is pretty radical, I know someone (GP dressage rider) who tested them and found themselves unable to do rising trot in the extended block! The standard block is smaller and gives you a little more freedom, you don't want to be too glued in place!

I had decided to go for an Isabell as I really rate them, they have a great seat - but then when the new Contourbloc Pros came out I thought "oohhh..." What I'd like to know is does the Pro have the same seat as the Isabell? If so, then it's a potnetially really good saddle for the money - they may even phase out the Isabells.

If I were you I'd start phoning round saddleries to see who has the Pros in - I understand the release date was May so the demo models should be in the larger saddleries now. And I'd sit in one, but also try and Isabell, see if there's a difference.

If you do get to sit in one, can you post on here and let us know what you think? TA!

PS from the Wintec site it doesn't seem like the Pro Contourblocs come in flocked as well as Cair. I don't like Cair so it'd have to be the Isabell - I will have to try and find someone to ask!

The Pro is a much flatter seat than the Isabell
