new yard and settled so why feel down ?

settled on new yard and dont know why just feel down sadly dont know why been there two months everythings fine just feel down about it cant put my finger on it like anywere you have friends and groups ,im not in any slot which is fine with me just feel a bit left out at the minute hackings mainly done before /after im at yard maybe im having a week were i feel lonely after all the excitment of moving and settling in has anyone else felt like this ?
 
i think there is always the worry of fitting in and finding the best people to go for a hack with. It takes a bit of time to feel included in what's going ono. I suppose they have to get used to you too.
you will find where you slot in in time. People can be a bit wary at first,
 
Everyone says hack out hack out but never follow through and they stopped asking.I say hello and put a smile on and get on with it ,i really get the feeling ive upset someone but cant think what really ,i know one group is very close do everything together hack , compete , etc i always ask how they got on and what they are doing next, etc, being friendly i wonder if they think i want to go everywere with them and be a pest as they are all close friends , i would never impose
 
ah you poor thing i do understand its quite hard to settle into a new yard. i moved to worcester back in march with my horse, i came from a yard where we all got on (sadly not much riding happened in my last yard :o but lots of coffee was drunk :D)
so i came to this larger yard where i was really paronoid, i think it took me about 2 months to find my fit,
i love it now i organise loads at my yard recently we did a trip to hoys and i am doing a xmas party at the local hotel not to mension my ann summers party.
you will find your place i promise. i am sure everyone is not in the clique maybe see if you can organise a drinks session??? or bring cake one day.
is it just a livery yard or are there school horses there too??

'Hacking Guide(s) needed
I'm (name) who recently joined this yard with (horse). Would love to explore more of the local hacking routes. Is there anyone could show me some new routes? I'm hoping to go for about (one hour/90 minute 2hr as appropriate) hack on (Saturday/Sunday?) leaving about (time) Is there anyone able to come too (more the merrier!). Will provide cake/biscuits to enjoy on our return!

As Halloween is getting closer how about taking some 'spooky' cake and nibbles down to the yard along with a Mulled wine or similar and putting on an impromptu party, Get people together, have a gossip and break some of the 'Ice' a bit ! Stick a friendly note up and have a bit of fun !
