New yard has really peed me off!!

Went down in the afternoon to find PF in a tiny box; the same box she was in when I first moved to Cordoba and yard was under different management.
They explained that the horse that had been in there (owned by YO, who has 80% of the horses at yard) had got cast. Not my problem I snapped. PF has already been in that stable and been cast herself and it was one of the reasons I took her away from that yard in the first place (that and the lack of mucking out) So, they said, we'll put her in this stable... NOT the one she was assigned and not as clean (because I pester the groom endlessly) but I said absolutely not put her back where she was, and they did. But OMG it annoyed me! And now I wonder if they didn't sneak her back when I was gone. I'd be sooooo cross. AND whilst I'd take her straight back to the old yard, I can't because all the stables are now occupied.
So fed up!

That is annoying, especially as you thought long and hard about moving too.

I would be just as peed myself PF!

I would take an opportunity to nip down to have a nosy when they are least expecting you, so just as to make sure that they are not trying to fool you.

Poor you and PF sounds like YO gets the best of everything! (it should be other way around seeing as you are PAYING!) but normally the case..

That's exactly what I'm planning on doing! Did it this morning and fortunately found madam where she should be... will probably pop by again this evening to stare sternly at everyone.....

Yes, that's exactly what it's like.
The thing that REALLY pees me off is that YO wants horses immaculate at all times but the beds can be a mess!

Poor grooms are polishing horses all day and barely get round to doing them and I have to hassle hassle hassle...

I spent a whole week (in my youth) as a WP in a very posh Scottish equestrian centre (think hotel) where one of the full livery owners worked 9 - 5pm....so they took her horse out of the stable and stood it on the concrete yard, tied, all day, then popped it back in at 4.45pm.
She gushed to me 'His bed's always so clean..they look after him so well here'
I had to leave I was so shocked!

Although I know they have a similar 'method' at the Jockey club (although it's not a secret)
