new yard owner need advice

hi, i recently taken over running a yard and i have a women who refuses to pay new prices, i want to get rid of her but dont know how i go about it as i dont think telling her to leave is going to work, if she refuses to leave what do i do.

Do you not have a contract for liveries to sign? Has she signed anything to have her horse on the yard? What was the ruling before you took over and did she sign anything then?

If you want to get rid of her give her notice in writing, IMO a month ought to be fine, and hopefully she will leave.

put a months notice in writing. i am right that you took yard over and she was there? if so send out new contracts and price lists.

Does she have a contract? If not, I'd ask her to sign one that includes prices etc and if she refuses I'd give her notice! Good luck
