I was terribly patient and gave him a chance

this morning, I ended up "sacking" the farrier!

After he called to say he would definatly be there on Saturday, I waited from 9.30 to 4.30pm. After numerous phone calls, that he didn't pick up, I grudingly rang someone at my old yard, to be told he had been there for the last 3 days of last week!!

So after 7 hours at the yard waiting, I was cold, hungry, thirsty and not a little bit hacked off.

I am now sitting at my desk at work with the first stages of Flu setting in. :(

On the upside the farrier I phoned this morning and left a voice mail for, rang me back at lunchtime, and is coming to do my girl on Friday.:D

Well done, it was the only thing to do.

Thanks, Yes I know. Sad as he is a nice chap, and a good farrier.

The new farrier asked when she was due, and when I replied "last Tuesday" he sighed and said "no need to ask who did her before then"
