hi all,

so i took my 8yo TB ex racehorse out on his and mine first hunt today and alot of you saidthe idea was darn right no and dangerouse but it was the best thing i have ever done!!

albeit it his first canter was terrible he took off in panic as the ground was crap and sticky and boggy he pulled up eventually and i nearly called it there and then but thing about me is i dont give up easy!! so i carried on got my rythem!

then we were a fab team lots of canters he was a true gent a born hunter!

although we didnt jump as i though the ground was to boggy and i wasnt sure about one or two of the jumps...maybe next time!!

he was one of best behaved horses of the day even when dogs and horses came flying past he was fab..

he only kicked a few horses but they shouldnt ignore my bloody red ribbon and let there horses sniff my bum!! bare in mind i stayed at the back aswell!!!

hes a horse of a life time best thing i ever bought i will not find another like him, he takes on everthing in his stride as if its nothing!! AMAZING LITTLE HORSEY!

below are some pics none of me unftunatly as i was on board but few of friends and (my nanny) of marleys head!!

Sounds like a great day.

I hope he didn't injure the horses he kicked, might be worth being more aware next time to avoid getting him in a situation where he can/does kick (and give him a good wallop when/if he does!).

i was funny aware as is a fully known kicker and will kick almost any horse other than feild mates. so i stayed as far away from any sort of situation possible even when bunched up in waiting i made everyone aware but noone seemd to care they just looked at me.

i dont think there was much more i could have done but thanks

no he didnt hurt any of them there all warning kicks and low enough to avoid and he doesnt [put much force behind them but i still even hacking or in a show make sure i dont put any one in tht situation. but other should really pay attention when someone is hopening and hinestly saying their horse is a kicker stay away and has a big red ribbon in their tail :)
