New years day walk!

We went on a very cold walk with Abe on new years day!

The gate was frozen shut on the dog park so we had to attack the river trails instead.

He even took the time to chase some fish and birds.

Then i found him munching on this.

Yes a very very dead salmon.

Looks like you had a good time despite the cold. We had a long walk, nearly got caught up in a New years day hunt and got wet in the process!

Lovely pics and it looks like a great day for a walk, if a bit chilly. It's been unseasonably warm here for the last couple of days so our walk wasn't as chilly although we still have a fair bit of snow on the ground from the storm we got earlier this week.
