Who's made any new years resolutions yet?
Mine are.....
1) try and sort out my overdraft.
2) start schooling/ having lessons again and do some shows in the summer (schooling was going to be my goal over winter but like most riding has been non existent :().
3) loose weight.....I say this every year and never do it:p.

I've almost given up making resolutions as I never keep them and I have a million things i need to improve but this year I would like to:

-Get back into lessons and get my confidence back
-Change my lifestyle (e.g. lose a tonne of weight!)
-Be more organised but keep busy (i.e. get off my arse and actually do what I'm supposed to)
-Be more relaxed and SMILE (Get rid of my hormones and stop being such a lazy moody cow :p)
-Stop worrying what other people think and just enjoy my life

:D

1.) Loose 100,000 stone.
2.) Stop ALL consumption of anything remotely tasty eg. chocolate, sweeties. :'(
3.) Track down Sir Alan Sugar, or someone just as rich, and persuade them with my magical powers to give me a few million for being a genuinely nice person.
4.)Have the cobalob clipped so regularly you'd think he was a wb.
5.)Jump around Badminton (we can all dream ;) )
6.)Marry... Channing Tatum?

Now for the more urgent and uhm 'realistic' resolutions...
1.) Clip the cobalob regularly, really smarten him up
2.) Aim to affiliate jumping by summer
3.) Get out and about as much as poss
4.) Do more dressage and reach the 70% mark at Prelim/Novice.

:)

Mine is to keep my Xmas cash in a pot and add at least a tenner a month. So when the time comes to buy Hurley a saddle I'll have a decent amount towards it.

Oh and to keep sticking to my diet, half a stone to go.... And then to not put the weight back on again!

1. Loose some weight
2. Loose a bit more weight
3. Continue to loose some weight

My baby will be 3 next year and I want to break him in, so no better incentive!!!

Definitely the weight thing, (only after Ive finished the choccies )
Get out the gate with my horse on his own and get round a whole hours ride!
Try not to slob around in horsey gear all the time.

Get a project pony, bring it on and sell it.
Work on my ISH's jumping
Continue to work hard and get as much experience riding as many different horses as possible!

:)

well I already have done horsey one on another thread but for me it would be:

1.Get confidence backing jumping so at uni I can jump any of their horses over jumps well
2. stop leaning forward when riding
3. go to pilates classes and get more muscle and fitness up

Well I was over a stone lighter when I bought a very lightweight TB mare last April. She has been out of work since June and my aim is to get rid of a stone and a half so that I can get back on her when she is ready - hopefully March. Also to sort my bad back out - oh and to stop spending money on horsey things that I really don't need!
