That my friends boyfriend died in it. I feel devastated for her. They loved each other so very much.

I suppose this is a little bit of a pointless post, but knowing how much she is hurting right now and not being able to do anything is really hard.

It is a bit of a reminder to let those you love know how loved they are. Sorry for the downer guys, just feel so sad.

How awful, I am so sorry to hear of your friends loss.
Its not a pointless post, and I am sure you are doing something for her by simply being there for her when she needs you.

((((((((((((((((((hugs)))))))))))))

so sorry to hear about this. I used to be a hostie, and the odds of this happening are so minute. Life is such a b**** sometimes. sm x

Another one here saying it's not a pointless post.

My thoughts are with youy friend, her family, the friends and families of everyone involved and, of course, you Marianneip, because you're obviously hurting too.

Big hugs.

I'm sorry to hear that - it's a horrible thign to happen to anybody.

My friend's dad died in the boxing day tsunami - his wife and her daughter survived as they were on a boat, but he'd stayed on the beach to read his book. they never found his body. John is one messed up lad now, especially since his step mum and her daughter then tried to get John and his brother taken out of their dad's will!
