No longer ride myself after a rather nasty fall (realised I no longer bounce)
so now live out my equine dreams through my daughter and our beloved but nearly outgrown pony. Luckily both are happy to oblige! Currently going through the nightmare that is horse hunting.
Hi pony club mum - I no longer ride either. Too old too stiff too scared!
Used to be a pony club mum ( I was quite good too!) but now redundant as my daughter is all grown up. Still a good unpaid groom/lorry driver/mucker outer/etc etc. My daughter has a broken horse so no more dreams for us but I have taken to lurking here instead how sad is that!
I still enjoy being around horses and keep promising myself I will start again - anyone else feel like that??
My best friend and I keep saying we must find a small girl who has a non horsey mum - we can supply the transport and even have an old PC pony - any takers out there??? We cannot be the only ones..... maybe we should start a group?
Welcome to you. I am similar to you and I enjoy taking my daughter to pony club stuff however it can be extremely stressful at times (especially when hubby can't understand why I get so it to it!) and I often wonder why I still do it and if daughter is really that interested or is it just me desperate for her to ride!! I enjoy lurking on here and reading other peoples posts...
