Hi chaps

I wonder if anyone can help me? This is a really stupid question and probably something I should know.

We have a wee miniature shetland who is suffering with the flies. She's not keen on sprays, so I've got some fly cream for her.

My questions: Where does one apply this stuff? How much does one use? There aren't any application directions on the tub ...

I've never used fly cream before!

Thanks ever so much peeps:D

Hi, I'm not sure on the fly cream, but if you've still got some the spray left you could spray it onto a brush or sponge then brush it on her. Works just as well but they don't have to have you spraying them :)

I put mine onto a sponge and the wipe around the whole of my horses face, take care around the eyes and muzzle, also go around the ears. You want to make sure that you have enough to do the job but not overload so you end up with a sticky mess, think of your self when you put hand cream on and you should not go far wrong :D

If she already has any bites or scabby bits apply it on and around those or you could use sudocrem or nappy cream to stop the flies getting in already scabby bits. Not sure about applying it to her whole body as I always use sprays but a lot of mares suffer with bits on their underneath so this might be a good idea, and at any scabby bits of her mane that the flies have got to :)
